Default Is the S2000 practical or impractical?

i sort of just put the S2000 in the "impractical car" category in my head. only two seats, small trunk, soft top, loud ride, and one small cup holder. but the more i think about it seems very practical in a lot of ways too. it gets decent gas mileage, it's relatively inexpensive to own and maintain, it's reliable, it's compact, and geez if i take out the passenger seat i can carry a full set of 17x9s with 235/40... three in the passenger well and one in the trunk! so is the S2000 a practical or impractical car?

AP2 center console has two cup holders( well one big center area). Just ap1's have one. My first s2000 was impractical because of the mods i made. In stock form it is pretty practical though.

Well I guess if I was married with children my opinion might differ...but I say it's practical for a single guy/gal.

Its impracticality is the best part... never have to drive people around coz the car is too loud, not comfortable enough (with my suspension set up) .. perfect

Car is perfect for my needs at this time in my life.. fits me, my girlfriend and the small amount of stuff that I would need

Practical because it forces the driver to focus on the task at hand, and provides great feedback to the driver.

This is coming from an RDX, where I believe all the tech/conveniences can lead to a distraction and disconnection to the road.

I find the S2000 more practical because it forces me to focus only on driving, and to be more efficient with what I do carry as cargo.

I put practical because its more practical than my motorcycle . Works well for me in my everyday life. Can hold all of my groceries, drive me and a girl around, and get me to work on time. Big plus is you dont have to drive your friends around!

i guess not having to drive your friends around since there isn't enough room is sort of practical in an impractical way! any time some one asks me to pick them up from the airport i have to ask two questions: is it just you? and how much luggage do you have?
my impractical car has gotten me off the hook several times.

I think you raise a very good point here... distracted driving is very dangerous these days. Reminds me of when I flipped out when I found out Chrysler was going to start putting WiFi in their cars so people could be online while driving. Tell me that doesn't sound like a cluster f*ck accident waiting to happen.

But I digress, don't want to get off topic
