Default S2000 price diffs by color?

Does anyone know if some colors are more popular and if there are price diffs as a result?

no price difference. it's just that some dealers get only a certain amount of colors allocated for them.

There are no differences in the price of the car due to it's color.

The answer may be the same, but I meant for used S's, not retail. I was just wondering if there were some that were more popular and harder to come by in the used marketplace.

I think that would simply depend on how many S2000's of the same colour are in your area. When you're negotiating on a used S2000, you can simply say there are 2-3 of the same colour in close proximity... but it also depends how badly the seller wants to sell their car.

Its different if you had like 1 red, 1 yellow and 1 black to choose from. They could turn it around on you and say why should I deal on the price... this is the only red S2000 in the area for sale right now.

All I know is that the white Ss are the rarest ones. Silvers and yellows are the most popular.

If you use Edmunds.com you will see TMV that uses color as a variable for used cars.

I'd pay extra for a U.S. certified Monte Carlo Blue.
