Default S2000 production Numbers

How many were made and where did they go? I was in NY for a week and only saw one. Here in Florida I will see 10 per day?

A search on these forums will also show that over the years, between 11k and 14k are produced annually, with 7k to 9k for US/NA sales. I haven't seen any data later than 2003 numbers though.

I remember reading on here a couple times that it was 5000 a year produced for the US.

Also, I am from Florida and the reason you would see more here than in NY is the climate.

That was the original story, but reality turned out to be a good bit more.

Like I said, check out www.hondanews.com. It's where you'll get OFFICIAL NUMBERS FROM HONDA.

Thanks everyone.

I get the whole climate thing, but I saw a good number of high end ragtops on the nice days, but I only saw one s2000. The reason why it stuck in my head was that I was with a buddy (boxster driver) and he didn't know what one looked like.

Thanks again.

Through April, 2005 total USA sales are 47,047. CA, TX, and FL make up a big part of those sales.
