Or is it just a car you can drive every day?

Yes, no problems since 2004. Only thing is more advanced planning and extra trips to Home Depot vs. 1 trip on a family car.

Yes, no problem except if you are involved in stop start traffic jams. The torque so high in the rev range makes continual stopping & starting a bit of a chore, but other wise the car is a joy to drive often.

I drove my s2k as a daily driver in my 20's and put 65k on it. It was fun to always be able to put the top down, but I would not be daily driving it now that I'm in my 30's!

Tell me about your wheels again, please. Those look so, so good on your car. Thanks.

I agree. I dailied mine from the time I was 21 through maybe 28 or so and really had no problems. In my early 30s I'm quite happy to have my car as a weekend car.

I drove my first AP1 as my only car for 8 years through all weather... while at the time I didn't mind it, I enjoy this newer AP1 much more now that I don't have to drive it in snow or rain. If at all possible I would recommend 2 vehicles so you don't have to drive with the top up/on.
