Alright I've got an interesting one to add to the registry, and I hope I've got the VIN details correct. It's a GT 100 Edition imported into NZ with the original hard top.

SN: Blizle_

MY: 2009
VIN: 0149
EXT: Grand Prix White
INT: Red
City: ---
Country: New Zealand

in which he suggested that S2000s coming off of the assembly line were consecutively numbered, and therefore we could tell if our "cars met before we did". The theory being that if any two cars are numbered one after another in consecutive order than they were produced one after another. This idea grew into the idea of creating a Registry of cars listing the screen name, model year and last five digits of the VIN number. I'm compiling the list and sorting it by model year and VIN just to see if any of us have "sibling" cars. Please take a look at the thread listed above to see the listing in my posts.

If you are interested in participating, and would like to have your car added to this "Registry" please post your screen name, model year, last five digits of your VIN, exterior color, interior color, city, state and country. If the car has been sold or wrecked, please post that info too. You can post in this thread or the Vintage thread linked above.

Thanks.

All updated now, thanks everyone for your patience.

@Blizle_ an interesting car indeed! Would you like to share the Edition number (out of 100)?

@dempseysbad also an interesting car - just the 50th U.S. production VIN! (There are 42 "invalid" VINs from the very early production numbers - prototypes, test mules, etc.)

Also interesting to note that (depending on your display settings) dempsey's car appears on the first "page" of the Registry, and Blizle's car appears on the last!

@Gilly_S2KFreak thanks! I try to add the following info every 20-25 posts, but I guess it's been a while...

New registrants: You'll know I incorporated your info when I "like" your post. If I don't get to your entry within a day or two, feel free to shoot me a PM.

In short, not a lot. One column counts the number of entries per model year; the other gives the VIN serial gap between entries.
