Just wondering who spent the most time on their S2000-inspired avatar? I sepnt nearly 2 hours - on something that ultimately was just a 4.5K file!

This car inspires obsession =)

 

What program did you use to make that animated gif? I think with a little more optimization you could probably get it larger, and still come in under 5k. It looks cool as it is, though.

In fact, I was wondering if it was possible, so I just did it...

I used Microsoft Photosomethingorother (for Office 2000). It was my first effort at an animated gif, and I didn't start with a very good photo, so the sprite flattening ends up making mine look a little like an S2000 Beetle! - also notice my gray "frame" only matches every other post background =)

And your pic is still less than 5K - amazing!

I have taken mine off I am so embarrassed by it now...My frustrated smiley will remain until I can conquer the moving S2K Avatar myself!
