s2000 road greeting! :-)
So this morning it was beautiful and I was driving out of the town and I passed a few bikes. Of course, as we would all expect they held their left hands low and acknowledged each other as passing...... well for some reason I was really chapped I wasn't able to take part. I remember on the last BMT how we would all hold our hands up when we wanted a car to kindly move over and I got an idea. From now on when passing another convertible with the top down I'm giving them an air-five! :-) Think about the joy!!! You're driving along when....... you spot another s2k coming toward you!!!......... :-)..... closer... and WHAM! Your hand goes up..... the other car's hand goes up!!!! :-)... then you pass each other, and BOOM! Hands down, forward and the highfive is complete! Can you imagine the minds blown of the people around you?! What do you think?! Is it something we should start?
In SoCal, where there are a lot of S2K's, we throw a "V" (like the peace sign or you can do the Mork from Ork V) when we pass another S2K. My wife or non-enlightened passenger thinks it's embarrassing but this is how we role in the land of teh rising taxes and debt.
Top up, I'll give a peace 'V', top down I'll go straight up with a high five. I've also gotten the headlight flash or two finger 'V' from older SIs and Intergra Type-Rs. When is Honda going to make another fun car to drive???

Also, yesterday I was driving and saw a GPW NSX coming toward me. I gave a thumbs up and he returned with a huge wave. Nice to see this type of thing extend beyond just the S2000 in some cases.
