I friend of mine had that problem. He bought a huge pile of stainless pipe, drove 5 hours to pick it up, and was then called 3 days later by the police and told that it was stolen. Now he has to appear in court as a witness (5hrs away) and possibly give the pipe back losing the $200 he spent. Being served an affidavit for something purchased on ebay is absurd. You have no idea if this stuff is stolen when you by it. Buyer beware.
