Default S2000 Shoots flames???

Is this reasonably possible? I suppose you'd need some type of fuel control to help you run pretty rich. I saw a guy the other day shoot a pretty decent size fire ball out the back.

"Back in the day" when Hot Rods used to shoot flames, the would run the car rich and run a spark plug to the exhaust pipe and use this to ignite the exhaust fumes. Personally I think it's pretty gay.

It's also possible to have the car running rich and have it "back fire" causing a fire ball inside the exhaust, I haven't seen this happen on imports before, but have seen it several times on Mustangs and Camaros especially when running without catylitic converters.

I saw it last night on an eagle talon with full exhaust no cats, Talon TSI back fired and shot a ball of flames out the back. My Rx7 when it had full exhaust shot flames as well. Imports do it just fine.

You typically use propane and a spark plug to accomplish that. Why would you want to do this?

I've seen it in person. Ask YeLLoWs2knVA how he got his S to shoot flames. You can find him under MidAtlantic forum.

I'm not saying imports can't do it, just never personally seen it done (other than on F&F ). I think running rich with no cats can cause the cars to back fire and "shoot" flames, personally I wouldn't go out of my way to make this happens since this usually indicates the car is not tuned properly.

TAKAKAIRA.COM has a nice one that works as a rev-limiter and right when you hit that RPM it will back fire. Kinda cool on the MR-2 that beat my brothers hatchback, except it would be better if it looked like a backfire and nit the two shots he did to me while driving away...

Ever since I got the turbo installed I've had multiple people tell me that I shoot flames. Go turbo.
