For some reason, that comic strip always annoyed me.But hey, at least it had an S2k in it!

 

Interesting.

The cartoonist has no problem calling the car an S2000 by name, but he can't seem to draw it worth a damn. Then he writes the character who owns the S2000 as a pr1ck.

I think Greg Evans must have some real world problems with Honda or an S2000 owner, if he feels the need to get even with them in print.

What I don't understand is that the dude, Brad, seems like a total dickwad to me. What a hater!

 

I've never really liked that comic, but I've read it... mainly cuz it's there in the comics section. Brad has always been an idiot imho...

 

I think it's kind of cute how Brad is interested in Toni and wishes that she would wake up to how much of a jerk Dirk is! So what if he's an idiot... he's just the poor guy who doesn't have a sports car but is totally in love with a girl who is dating a guy that's no good for her at all. Isn't that a common story among most young guys?

I thought it was cute when I saw the S2000 in the strip. I showed all my coworkers yesterday and was so excited. LOL I'm such a dork.

 

That kind of story is "cute" for girls, and annoying and frustrating for guys. I guess we now know who the intended audience is for that strip.

BTW, S2000 owners are not the pr1cks of this world. In my experience, those guys drive SUVs or BMWs, or worse yet, BMW SUVs. That's my main problem with this comic.
