i had this issue last year.
i took a flashlight and shined it into the car on the passenger side so that the sucker would make his web in the light. after confirming the web was intact and he was in the center of it i ambushed the car silently with some skills i picked up from COD.

that little shit had no idea what hit him.

the worst feeling is getting into your car and going right through a web, it creeps me out so bad.

I think your best bet is to dress into a spiderman costume and learn to cope with them, after all it seems like they enjoy your s2000 just as much as you do. Give the poor things some credit.

just to throw this in the discussion.. the first night the house got "attacked" I was already on the edge from killing like 20 of them. I chased a big brown spider across my room and he went under my door into the kitchen. I followed... When he got under the lip of the cabinets a freaking black widown webbed him, bit him, and pulled him up. There was also another dangling brown spider that already met his maker. At that point I was completely silent, sweating like a wet sponge, and nearly in tears (eyes were watering!!). I hate it!!!!! I always completely freezed up when I see them. It takes me seconds to get a grip which is sometimes tooo long!!!
Lol!! You sound just like me rofl. I absolutely HATE spiders I keep my top & windows sealed tight because I have a good amount of spiders living in the garage, no matter how much I kill & how much web I destroy they always come back. I bought a small $60 vacuum for these little critters alone, no need to use a tissue to kill them, no need to clean up after I stomp them, just freaking vac' them & have my sister change the filters when its too full .

And I agree with the person about walking right into some spider webs, definitely not a good feeling having your whole face caught in it after opening the garage door by the way, I'm getting all itchy & crawling up like a ball just reading this thread

lol back when i lived a short time in mobile, AL
i had a refugee camp of fire ants in my prelude, which in no time became a friggen colony.. More disturbing to see them walking in a well organized line carrying eggs on my door jam when you open the door... + 1 on that drive to a cold climate, when i came back to the Midwest just as fall hit i saw no more of them scary little evil biting stinging bastards. Dammit that sucked

Anyway, my philosophy on spiders is "if they look too big to be alive or alive at all, kill them". Spiders are just plain freaky looking.
