Chipster, and my point is that you should make your comments on a thread where it's appropriate, not cry wolf when no venom's been sprayed. (Mixed metaphor? )

Stormbringer, thanks for the note of confidence. I didn't say it, but I certainly feel you're entitled to paint your car anyway you want. A lot of people didn't like the way Jason Keeney painted his car for the Nationals, but I thought it looked great. So opinions differ and the bottom line is that yours is the only one that counts in this matter.

I long since quit reading most off-topic threads because I don't have the time to spare. I always check the name of the originator first, and if it's someone I respect and a topic that sounds interesting or amusing, I'll at least give it a go. I love animals, so I wouldn't find a thread such as you described appropriate. THERE I would certainly be doing some flaming.

Others have said that this was the best and most useful forum they've seen. I have limited experience with such matters, but I certainly have found a goldmine of information here. And I suspect that you will find rude people wherever you go.

c-three, maybe we need a little more stringent monitoring of the off-topic forum? Personally, I think it's usually wasted bandwidth.

The red color on the stripe looks better than I thought it would. The shade of red is probably pretty close to the color of the red S2Ks.

Personally, I wouldn't do this to my S2K, but to each his own. At least you had the guts to do it, and post it,

I think the stripes need to be wider. Much wider. Infact so wide that they touch each other and cover the whole car. Or maybe I just like red cars?

To each his own, but a big thumbs down IMHO.

Stripes belong to American cars, IMO

At least you can easily remove them from your S, if you don't like them anymore...
