Arrow S2000 Strut Tower Bar Video

Over the last year I have decided to combine my hobbies and the result is this video.

It is an in depth evaluation to see if a strut tower bar is necessary on my S2000.

Is a strut tower bar supposed to work on the S2000? I installed mine so I have something to lean on while working under the hood. Mine works perfectly!!

great video, thanks for taking the time to do this. now I wonder, is there any benefit to letting the chassis flex a little bit on those rough parts of road? for example, reduced wear and tear on other suspension components

Yep, OP confirmed the community's general theory that the strut tower bar does not stiffen the front end, but with science instead of a butt dyno.

Every S2000 should have one for this purpose, I think they look better with one too.

I had an ASM strut bar that connected to the lower subframe with an X-brace and I thought the car felt better with it, better than other 2 point strut bars I ran before it.

I cannot think of any benefits for the chassis flex. I would prefer any flex and wear and tear to happen in the various suspension bushings. Bushings are designed to flex and are mostly serviceable or replaceable when they do wear out.

Thanks for the compliment.
