S2000 to Supercharged E46 M3
Ok I'm doing the "right" thing and saving. I was hoping you would all sway me otherwise hehe, bad joke i know. I could have also parted out the car back to stock then the car would have cost me a net $18,000 (and that's staying a bit on the conservative side) for a fully loaded (yes every package possible), individual color ($2-4k extra from the factory, I think there are only a handful of these in the US) and it will have only 33k miles on the clock. I could have done that and saved $4k over my S2k. Albeit it will be a bit of work to sell of the parts. HMMMM!!!
Naw don't buy the boosted E46. Honda > BMW in terms of reliability, that difference will only be exaggerated once you start adding things like aftermarket forced induction to a BMW.
Don't get me wrong E46 M3's are sicccccccc when they're running well!

you said that this is your only chance to pick up a car like that.. I say totally untrue... you'll have many more chances in your lifetime.. if you've got a chance to have your own crib by all means go that route.. who wants to be past their mid-thirties with a bad ass ride still living at moms and pops crib.?? not exactly a panty-dropping situation you've got there..
