I wouldnt worry about it too much. Every car I have had has been called 'cute' and a 'girls car' (mostly by girls who dont know anything about performance).
Past cars include:
99 Integra GSR - Blue
03 350z - Black
08 S2000 - Blue
I think it is tied to the smaller size of each of the cars and convertibles also tend to be referred to as 'girls cars.'
