.. Where do you get that Matt? Aside from the Type - S keeping it's soft top. and switching some badging.. it looks like a carbon copy to me.....
Just what you stated - it has a soft top, so it doesn't have the same CR suspension either. We won't know all the differences until we see real specs, but its not a CR.

... Were did you get that the suspension had changed from the CR?

Well, a soft top means no structural brace between the rear wheels, so that's different.

I think there is a brace where the soft top was. Don't quote me on this though ... I just noticed the seats are also the same as the CR.

One of the suspension changes of the CR is bracing where the soft top would be. A soft top, presumably, precludes that bracing.

I want to see the yellow that is present in the seats and shift boot be replaced with red colored stitching instead, think it would look sportier. Maybe this will be reserved for the S2000 Type R.

The well for the soft top isn't that deep. If you have ever pulled out the interior of your S, you'll know what I am talking about. I could be wrong.. but I don't believe this "removed soft top for bracing " mumbo jumbo until I see it. There is nothing under it that would get in the way of a brace.

Are there any pictures of the CR with the Tonneau off?
