Default s2000 typeV

I've been playing Gran Turismo 3 the past couple of days and I noticed the s2000 typeV. Does the car actually exist? I am guessing that if it does then it is in Japan only. Anyways, does anyone know anything about it other than what the GT3 says in the game?

I thought it was something to do with the steering. The faster you go the harder to turn the steering wheel and the slower you go the easier it is. Maybe I'm wrong and there a symbole on the steering wheel and the trunk "VGS".

Type V is Japan only (maybe europe too?)

It has VGS which is Variable Gear Steering. THe steering ratio changes with speed, but from what I remember seeing, I think Best Motoring, it was actually slower because the drivers found the steering to be unpredictible.

The Type VGS also has a steering wheel with silver leather and VGS imprinted on the leather along with the trunk badge to differentiate it from other S 2000's.

The bottom and top silver bits are plastic not leather.

I think it's a little heavier too.

the type is heavier then the other. It's not a huge wieght difference but it is there. That way be the reason for it being a little slower, but the steering impressions were not likes by most.

The Spoon S2K on GT3 rules! Much better than the Type V.
