Default s2000 validity

hey guys. so i was online looking the possible s2ks that i could purchase. and i ran across this one in texas that is going for 9k dollars . its an 05 and the seller said it has 8k miles on it. of course this is ridiculous so i had him send over the title and he sent a picture of it. i checked the VIN on carfax and it came out, but the mileage on the title of the car had like 26k miles. i dont know whats going on and surely even if the engine was blown and replaced i think its a good bargain. he wants to go through escrow so what do you guys think.. is this too good to be true?

When it's too good to be true, it is.

seen it done before... the escrow service is fake...he will suggest escrow.com, but will send you a link to click which will redirect you to a fake site to send ur money to.

i was in the market for an sti before and the deal was too good to be true. same situation...carfax/vin checked out...and he wanted 10k for a mint sti with 15k miles.

check out this link...this is similar to what i experienced
clicky click
