Nah, it just boils down to whether you get a rush out of the 9,000 redline or not. I hemmed and hawed over whether to get an AP1 or an AP2, and there are certainly things about the AP2 that might easily have persuaded me to go that route. Ultimately, I decided on a 2003, which kept the 9,000 redline, but had the glass rear window, which was the comfort feature that was most important to me in this cold climate.

True, I'd love to hear mine rev to 9. But 9k over a lot more other improvements didn't add up for me.......so brand new AP2 FTW!
