s2000 vs. e46 m3 handling

From what I've researched, I heard S2000 came out near the end of 1999 and now there's a new model called CR.
I have driven both the E46 CONVERTIBLE and the S2k extensively. Only a troll would compare the coupe to the conv.
The E46 has massive power. The s2k is not even in the league.
The E46 has mediocre chassis stiffness, top the point that the cowl shake is uncomfortable in very high limit situations. The s2k is very stiff, second to the loti.
The E46 has a rear seat...a glove compartment, heated seats, key light, etc.
The E46's brakes are mediocre. The s2k's brakes are adequate.
The E46 is very confidence inspiring. The balance is good, and the overall high speed stability is excellent. It does not have the transitional ability of the s2k IMHO, and the *stability* is all on the alignment settings (you can do exactly the same to our cars, or conversely make the M3 handle transitions better to the limits of its weight differential).
The real negative IMHO with the M3 is that is always seems quite a bit larger when you drive it at speed. It doesn't wrap around the driver like the s2k does.
The average M3 owner would not be happy at all with the s2k and vice versa.

Pshawww! Don't bring facts to the table.

When you brake, you feel the weight of the car coming forward and when you hit the corners, you feel the car's weight leaning... but yet and still, the car holds it ground very well.
The car was an exceptional vehicle and is not in the same league as an S2000. They are two different type of cars. The E46 is a more upscale, heavier car, but I still think that it handles better than the S2000.

I wonder why no one has brought up weight distribution. I think that is the key when you ask which one "handles" better than the other. I give it to the Miata though
