Strike, I'm not home to drive the car...first day I had it, I put 115 miles on it but since then I think my dad's only put on about 65 more...it'll definitely be broken in once I'm home for another few days (winter break)!

Damn, I was through my break in period the first day, had mine picked up in Oregon and drove it back to the Bay Area. Boring Highway 5 drive at breakin speeds and RPM's. nex day tho? Hwy 9 over to Santa Cruz, up the coast and back thru 84 to open it up on 280. Wow, that was over a year ago.
Calaveras and Nile Canyon rds are great too!

Miata is at its best @ 40-60mph in the twisties
S2000 is at its best @ 70-100mph in the twisties
I have owned both, my miata was heavily moddified.

Scott, maybe I will see you there some day. I live in San Ramon and drive that route about 1 or 2 days a week down to Santa Clara. I've got a silver/red 2000. I once drove it when it was mostly clear behind a motorcycle that was side ways around every turn with me above 6K most of the way. But be CAREFUL - one bad turn and you are off the road and dead!

PS: noticed there is a guy from Ann Arbor on this board. Go Blue! (I graduated from M in '85)

Nice picture of the Miata.
I love the way it looks.

Hmmm....Looks like GregStevens has started a new trend here.

I go from Santa Clara to Pleasanton quite a bit to visit a customer...where do I get onto Calaveras and where do I exit if I want to exit on Stoneridge?

PsychoBen - You're right! And that dumpster is WAY nicer looking than any of the ones I've seen in photos with S2000s!

Thanks for all the compliments on my miata!
The S is a nice car but I wish I still had the miata....(flames)
It was heavily modded, At one point I had a Jacks*n Racing Supercharger on it...kit s*cked, but other than that it was lowered, had sways, wheels, roll bar, and it was lots of fun...I miss it quite a bit
