Default S2000 vs STi

So the other day I was coming home from the gym. I'm exhausted, and all I can think of is taking a shower and downing a 50g protein shake after flat benching teh 275 (lol, but seriously ).

I'm at a stoplight in a 2 lane left turn. As the light turns green, I turn normally, no vtec y0. Just then, I notice a black STi on the left of me making the same left turn in the other lane. As soon as we straighten out, he starts shooting small revs and cuts me off. No big deal, I'm too tired to oblige this guy. As it turns out, he leads me into my neighborhood and parks his car. Ah, its the STi I always see when I pass this one particular house (obviously, he lives there). As he's parking into his driveway, I shoot a few small revs at him just because. So what does this guy do? He backs his car up, and proceeds to follow me to my house. So, I take him near my house which is in a court, but don't actually park it; I just stop right in the middle of the street. Sure enough in my rearview mirror, the STi passes the perpendicular street. Thats the end of that meeting.

I'm just pissed that this guy had the audacity to attempt to follow me home just for shooting a rev at him AFTER THE FACT that he was driving like a d-bag. At least I know where that particular STi owner lives. Add to the fact that he parks his car outside, while my car is in a garage all of the time; why would you want to f@#k with me or my car? Maybe he has an ego thing, maybe he thought I was cute, idk. Does this guy deserve a brick through his windshield?

Sorry for the rant my fellow s2ki brethren. But this just irked me.

I don't know you but I'll just say let it go.

Too much stuff these days...

That's annoying. Way to go STi driver for pushing the stereotype of STi owners.

Why do you assume he was pissed off and being aggressive? Maybe he wanted to compliment your car and chat about cars? If it was another S2000, would you have thought differently?

I had a STi. EVERYONE revs at them and it gets really old really quick. That car makes you drive like an asshat. At least it did with me !

He may have been driving like an asshat but you rev'd at him.

Kinda like a hockey penalty. They never see what initiated it they only see the reaction!

Hmmm I had a similar experience but in my case I was the one causing the trouble.

The light was about to turn red (it was yellow when I turned) so I downshifted to third to make a quick turn but on the other side of the road a BMW 7 was about to turn and didn't see me, almost hit.

So he proceeded to follow me into my neighbourhood...and I thought hmm okay he is following me. I sped up and he followed. I was like, oh shit...I calmed down a little and then I realised oh crap he is following me to my house. I thought about going for a drive to ditch him but for some reason I was stupid enough to just go home. It wasn't my real home it's an apartment I rented when I attended UC San Diego.

I thought he was going to f- me up but he pulled up next to my garage and said, oh hey I just got an S2000 and I seriously did not see you coming, it was fast! Nice car...and blah blah blah. That scared the shit out of me because he drove fast and he BMW 7 was chipped 400bhp and I could tell it was modded...and BMW guys are generally %^&*(

After that I drive pretty sensibly now. LOL And because you don't know him...I'd just let it go. It's scary to get into any kind of trouble!

Thanks for all the replies guys. And no, I won't retaliate. "Don't start no shiet won't be no shiet."

Its just that it seems a little psychotic to follow someone directly to their house after a rev is shot at you. And Fearnight, if he wanted to he could've followed me fully and talked cars with me just like what kevins2OOO said; that would've been cool. But he crept passed my court/cul de sac without actually going into my court. That right there is a red flag on whether or not he wanted to talk cars.

na2king, already done this morning, except I knocked out shoulders and cardio instead

Most of the time people just appreciate a nice car and want to race or chat about their cars. Just caught you at a bad time. One of those things we all deal with from time to time. I'm sure it was nothing.
