Default S2000 vs Whitetail deer

Last Friday ( late afternoon) I was driving through the hills and valleys of western Wisconsin. This is an area perfectly suited for the enjoyment of a high performance sports car. The winding, hilly roads that take you through the forests of the Mississippi river valley are incredible. The weather was great and with a beautiful young blonde by my side I was having the time of my life. I was going 60 mph when all of a sudden there was a deer right in front of me! I twitched the car to the right and hit the deer's back legs with my left front tire. With any normal car I would have hit the deer head on. Another reason to buy the S2000. We headed to the next town and the nearest roadhouse for a stiff drink. Took me awhile to get my heart rate down. S2000 1 Whitetail deer 0 Tim

Wow, I cringed when I read the title of the post. I was afraid there would be some NASTY pix inside with tails of a years supply of venison and 3 mos worth of repair work.

Congrats!

No damage to the car at all? I don't see how you could spin the car around and hit the deer with JUST your tire?

What happened to the deer?

Yup, that's a bad time. A couple of hours within dusk and dawn are times where deer are VERY active. I try to do my spirited driving during the middle of the day. Watch out for meadowy and swampy or areas with thick vegetation.

BTW..nice manuever.
