s2000 wave
I vote for the 'V' for V-Tec!
A quick double flash works well also.
I wave to every other bike when I have the ZX out for a blast. Most wave back, even Harley riders. The number of returned waves is in inverse proportion to the air temp that day - the colder the day the higher the percentage of returns!

Boka, PFB & wirejock...I apologize for the rude narrow minded Harley riders you've experienced. I have two scooters and always wave to and back at fellow riders no matter what type of bike they're on. Not all us Harley guys are jerks! BTW- KenS2k.....I didn't have to go to the clubhouse to get my decoder ring, I found mine in the secete compartment.
I've generally had a good response from other S2000's with a full wave, usually over the windshield with the top down. Just today, however, a woman in a black did the total stiff neck thing. I don't think it was a "hitting on her" deal, she just seemed to not be interested. Other than that, the wave and a smile works great!
When I'm ridin' the Hog I wave at all the S2000s and when I'm in the Stook I wave at all the Harleys and always get acknowledged. Call it a mutual admiration thing. The only problem is that I get the urge to go home and switch when I see the other.

I had a though on this today...
How about raising the hand with the palm foward all five fingers extended and then retracting the thumb to a folded position.
Hence 9 for 9k...
The V is to over used and easily confused with other hand signals...

to them. I've actually had women describe my car to their friends like that! I just suck it up and Smile
But you know it's going to get old it Honda doesn't stop production. It'll be like the Del Sol's..Think about it.

I would def. Nod my head.. smile.. <<especially if he's cute>>. I have had people honk and give me thumbs up and say "Nice car" (I could read their lips). So
I've owned just about every make of convertible available to mankind (reasonably priced that is) over the past two decades and this is the only one that gets a nod, thumbs up, etc from bikers, especially road rockets. I had three guys this past weekend actually do a 180 on the highway to follow me for a few miles just to hear some high VTEC revin', it was a blast. They really got into it. As for other S2000 owners (the few that exist here), a simple flash of the lights is usually what I do. There's a fairly small community of roadster owners up here (of all makes) so I usually reserve the lights for the Honda owners and a nod or wave to the others. Audi TT owners seem the most appreciative of my selection. The Porsche/Corvette convertible owners seem threatened (why I have no idea) and the Miata seems to have been overtaken by women who seem to be in their own world when driving and rarely acknowledge any gestures. As for Spyder and SLK owners...I rarely see 'em up here. There might be four or five in the entire northern area of Vermont, not that there is that much more of the S2K either. That's the good part of being amongst the land of SUV's and Subarus...you won't find yourself coming and going and three years into production, the car still is turning heads each day.
