Color should be a lower priority for you when buying used.

Check to make sure the condition of the car is good and that all maintenance has been performed. Check for signs of abuse etc.

Once you have identified 2-3 cars that you think are well cared for, then based on your budget and the pricing of the car pick the one in the color you like the best.

FYI, Laguna's are supposedly rarer than GPWs, but that GPW looks awesome. It is one of my top color choices as well, although I like them all

i was almost DEAD set on GPW, but the silverstone i currently drive was too much of a better deal than the GPW, only one owner, clean title, and only an intake added.

GPW had some ugly rims...hazed headlights, dirty interior...i jsut didnt want to take the time to clean all this up and STILL pay more.

GPW = 22k not OTD
silverstone = 17.8k OTD

no matter what color you get, i think it will grow on you overtime.
ive come to love silverstone. its a very flexible color lol

GPW hands down...
you might pay more but you will not regret about it...
how miserable is looking at your S and wishing you should have gotten GPW everytime you get in and out?

my previous S was 05 GPW as soon as i was in market for CR i didnt think about any other colors but GPW

wow

after reading all the posts I starting thinking..."maybe color really isn't as big of a deal as I've making it out to be"

then you brought me back to reality... GPW ftw

the search continues

When I bought my rsx-s I wanted black or red and ended up with silver. I think that is one reason I ended up selling it so soon.. But hey I sold it and got a NFR S so all was good in the end.

I really think you should not settle on anything but your preferred color.

Something I find odd though is the obsession with white cars on the forums. Most people I know in person would prefer any color over white..

I don't think I would have the same love for my S that I do now if it wasn't white.

I wanted yellow but the only one I could find was really ragged out. I found a mint Sebring Silver and never looked back. I actually have grown to love the color, it's very "classy" like GPW and I don't look like boy ricer driving a bright yellow/red/blue colored car and I've never been pulled over in it in 4 years of ownership...I attribute that to the color as I was pulled over at least 2-3 times a year when I had my Electron Blue Prelude and I drove both cars the same.

I must be the only one here who really doesn't like GPW??? To me it seems less sporty than most other colors, especially with the tan interior. When shopping for my 3rd s2 recently here was how I ranked my color choices:

Rio (I have already owned 2 yellow ones, so unless I stumbled across the perfect car I would skip it this time)
Berlina
Silverstone w/ red & black
laguna
NFR
Sebring
GPW
Suzuka (I like the color, but despise the interior)

I think I would have been happy with any color except for Suzuka though...

I wanted a GPW CR so badly, but the only one I could find for sale that was absolutely mint was Apex Blue. But I have now found that I like the Apex Blue even more as it is really the only CR specfic color, and I get a ton of compliments on it.

As I have stated before...I ended up with Sebring Silver, just b/c I found a good car at a good price. Wasn't near the top of my color choices. But, one added bonus I have found. It is hands down the easiest color of a car, that I have ever owned, to keep clean.

You can seriously do a half-ass wash job in like 10 or 15 minutes...and it looks like you detailed it.
