Far as I know, it doesn't happen with any other tires but the OEM rears. Anyone else?

BTW, at best this car will suck in the snow.

I've heard people say that it's quite good in the snow with proper tires.

When the car was 1 week old, winter came. I had anticipated it and had wheels and snow tiresready. This car was a blast in the snow. It's more tractable with snow tires than a front wheel drive car is with only all season radials. This car does NOT suck in the snow. People who have no experience driving in such conditions only imagine it would be. And yes, if you want to or if you are inexperienced in winter driving with RWD, you can do donuts real easy. I do them on purpose. You do NOT drive this thing like you would in the dry season.

I got a set of 4 of these. They're 7" X 16" with 44mm offset. They stick out from the wheel wells by about an inch more than stock but that's OK. It gives the car a more aggressive look and they're only on the car for the winter. Made by ADR ($195.00/ea. Can.) I had actually negotiated a set of OEM wheels for cost with the purchase of the car but I didn't want to spend that kind of money ($1400.00/set Can.) for winter (rock) wheels.

The wheels came from the performance division of a Honda dealership (T&T). They're called "Contemporary Motorsports", Calgary. The tires are Bridgestone Blizzaks on the rears and Goodrich Winter slalom on the fronts, sames sizes as stock tires. I wanted the Winter slaloms all around because they are the same tread pattern as my other Blizzaks on my other car and they are way cheaper than the Blizzaks but only Blizzaks are made in the size we need for the rears. The tires came from TireCraft (Winter Slalom) and Blaskin & Lane (Blizzak).

would it be stupid to put winter tires on the 17" rims I have now? Will winter tires even fit with 17" wheels on the s2000?
