Generally speaking, in order for a car to have collectibility it should have been popular when it was on the dealer lots. Such is not the case with the CR.

It's possible a mint AP1 might command a high price down the road.

The Toyota supra was not popular at the deelors and look at those prices. No way the S-CR will be like that, S's are way common and depreciate terribly, not gonna happen.

I could see the CR getting to collector car quicker than any other S if they only run it for the 2008 MY.

AP1's... hmmm... I dont think they will unless lots of kids buy them up and crash them and they become a rarity
