honda606,

Ehh, alright, so you're a Republican.
Good for you.

Now wake up.

Regardless of whether you're a self-proclaimed anti-anti-anti conspiracy theorist, or whatever kind of theory you can come up with about Greenpeace, et al, "inventing" environmental problems, they DO exist.

Jeezus man, do you actually think some huge, nasty series of smokestacks in every major industrial area is GOOD for the air?

C'mon.

I got my Bachelor's in environmental affairs. I bought some of it, and tossed out the rest. To deny, though, that a potential environmental catastrophe exists is as narrow-minded as believing that taking a zillion prescription drugs actually cures the cause of illness.

I use "catastrophe" not to describe some quasi-possible future calamity that might occur (i.e. Doomsday, Armageddon, blah blah) but on a broader scale: neglecting to respect nature WILL hurt us.

Badly. It already has.

I read somewhere that the temperatures this year are about 1.7 degrees Celsius higher in every region due to global warming. It might be misleading however as statistics can be used to argue on both sides.

Nice article and it was great dreaming.

I don't care a bout the mistakes or about it being untrue, it didn't fool those of us who thought about it a bit.

But we still enjoyed the dream.

I had to wipe the drool off my key board reading that article.....if it were only true. I would drive down to my Honda dealer right now(not an exaggeration) to place an order.
