We went to the GP yesterday (Friday). A yellow (not Spa, some more orangey version) S2000 was a pace car ... which was cool. It had a full-cabin-width rollbar, similar to those I've seen on Mustangs. Looked good, but I wasn't sure how strong it would have been. It also had a hardtop that was on it while it was parked. I was stoked to see our car out there.

They had that obscene PINK S2000 there at a 2Fast 2Furious booth in the Auto Club's expo (show) area. It's really disgusting. I couldn't stop staring at what they had done to our car. My husband finally had to drag me out of there.

It was my first time at the GP, it was really cool to see all those F1 type cars flying around the track. I looked for The Raptor and Mrs. Raptor, but didn't bring their seat info, so I never did see them. Had lots of which was good.

 

I'd love to see pics of the yellow-orange S2000. Nice story.

 

first year i wont be able to go-
it would sure be cool if we could get about 40 of us to take to the track before the race... not likely, since the main sponsor is not honda!

 

This is the first year I won't be going!!!

Back in the mid '80's, I owned a Toyota and was part of a group
of about 25 people that got to do a lap just prior to the start of the main race in their
own Cars!!! That was a blast!!!
We were told to keep in a single file line and go slow!!! hahaha
I held back at every corner and flew around with tires screaming & crowd cheering!!!

 

First time I haven't gone in 5 years. No Honda, no point. I was thinking about going to see the Gin Blossom's tonight, but that's about it. No worries though, the GP will survive.
