I was recently looking at picking up a suzuka blue s2k for my new car. I recently sold a 'finely tuned' 2001 Silver S4.
However after reading up on much of the material do you think it would be a better option to see what the future brings? specifically the s2200? also I heard of a redesign in 2004/2005?
Any help, input or suggestions would be welcomed. Thanks in advance.

 

the s2200 is probably going to BE the redesign of the s2k, either as a 2004 or 2005 MY.

2.2 with 250+ hp seems promising.

 

do you know or believe there will be any interior/exterior design changes? or is that up in the air or simply expected?

 

by looking at the prototype pics, it seems that its the same as the s2k(interior) but it is a coupe, has a 2.2 liter stroked motor and the wheels might be different.

 

Sorry for all the ?'s however is pretty much the same stroker kit offered to the current f20c?
also I heard with the motor stroked the redline must be lowered?

Basically I want to be able to run an s2k with an S/C or a turbo kit running at 7psi or so do to the high compression. I'm not looking to break any 1/4 mile times or anything. I just want an fun open end car that has a bite. Just a great summer/spring car. I was also considering 3000GT vr4's and mkiv supra's.

However the 50/50 weight ratio is intriguing as well as the weight and rwd lsd and they are sexy .

 

The S2200 coupe is a figment of the imagination of one magazine editor, nothing more, nothing less. When you get to the post of "Import Editor" you can write just about anything you want and sound credible.



Sounds like a stock S2000 would fit the bill...
