S2200 Review
You can find a very early review of the S2200 at www.autoexpress.co.uk
Looks like good news but won't be imported to the UK....damn!!!!!

You're going to see this quote from the above review in EVERY review of the 04 S2000 "gone is the inherent tendency for snap oversteer at the limit".
Two reasons,
- Yes the softening of the rear springs etc has tamed the rear (not a bad thing as some would have you believe - us autocrossers have been trying like mad to tame that via stiff front bars - and we're hardly poseurs).
-ALL of the early test rides are the invites by Honda - and guess what they get told right off the bat - "We've tamed snap oversteer" - read enough magazines (I get all of 'em) for long enough, and you realize that they all just quote the press junkets, especially on the preview rides.
Anyway, the new car sounds like fun, though I see no reason why someone would incur the expense required to upgrade a 00 - 03 for one, the new 04 guys are getting a nice upgrade.
Time will tell what turns out to be the preferred car down the road - example '95 M3s with less torque and twitchier handling are preferred to OBDII versions 96+ - partly due to easier ability to Mod, but they also handle slightly better, well for the skilled driver at least.
I'm looking forward to the first comparo with the new car and 350Z, Boxster S, RX-8, etc - those tend to reveal a lot more about a car, as it's pitted against direct competitors in a number of areas i.e, track, back road, perf numbers, at the same time with the same drivers. Bike guys will tell you that's the only way to go - my rant, bike mags do a much better job of evaluating multiple rides.

Oh, and....
Dogs suck......
All they do is sit outside and bark all night so I can't even open the windows in my house.
I'll take a cat any day over a smelly obnoxious dog. No offense to those that like dogs, but I can't stand how annoying they are.
