No this is about a 50/50 swap, so it requires a side of proctor:

But I still don't think its that funny. Good example of the difference between "funny once" and "always funny"

Speaking of Ebay, do you feel comfortable buying from ebay without actually seeing/driving the car?

I have purchased a vehicle off Ebay.

When I went to pickup the vehicle (and provide payment), I inspected and tested the ride before handing over the cashier's check.

If ANYTHING was wrong or did not match the described item as advertised, damage not noted in the add or visible in the pics, mechanical issues, etc., I would have either negotiated a reduction in cost for the misrepresentation (for something minor), or simply walked away and said 'no thanks'. I would simply record a comment on Ebay that noted the item was not as described.

Now, would I buy a car on Ebay and remit payment prior to my own inspection?

No way!

This was a couple of years ago, and if recall correctly, Ebay gives you 7 or 10 days to make payment on a winning bid. We drove out on the weekend after winning the bid and picked up (and paid) for the vehicle.

You ain't obligated to pay for a winning bid if the item is not accurately described.
