Default S2K 2JZ

Hey guys, I use to be an s2k owner like 4 years ago but I miss that thing so I think I might buy one again, this time building it to run hard! I been looking at some videos regarding the Supra 2J swap and it looks like a really neat idea I just don't know the risks involve if any, I have heard of some twisting the chasy on the car due to lots of power and the chassis being weak. My plan is to have like 600whp, not looking to go to crazy but this power level might not be safe either way. I also heard the DIFF wont take the heat. So I know it will take some modifications, but I just want to make sure I won't have to be welding the chassis periodically or changing my diff, or fixing the car every 3 months. Let me know what you guys suggest, thanks in advance...

If you've owned a s2000 you should know

A) It's a chassis
B) A F22 can handle 600hp ...

you could reach 600 horses by turbocharging a F22 or F20 without having to spend the extra $$ on a 2jz swap.

You will be fixing your car every three months.

Lol, English ain't my first language... Did have an s2k but never went into performance mods, plus an engine swap is a different ball game. Inread that to fit the 2J you need to remove a piece in the engine bay design to reinforce the chassis....

I thought the swap if doable is more unique, less expensive, and gives me room for more power in the future if I change my mind, lol

At 600hp, the diff will splinter into pieces during 2k clutch drop.

Frankly, for 600 hp you should start with a different car, like a Corvette, or I dunno, Supra.

I have a 2010 GTR with over 600hp, I just wanted to get the s2k and do a nice build on it since is lighter and will be much cheaper, need a rest from GTR expensive parts, i have spent almost 30 grand already on it...

The s2k was my first car back then and I use to love it but had to sell it to go to school, I want one again to make it fast as a side project.... I can also boost the F22, how much you guys think it will run me to get to 600-700hp..... The idea of the swap came up thinking it would be cheaper and more reliable, am sure I would have to fully build the f22 to get that power, which is more labor cost and time....

pics of you by your gtr with the hood up holding a sign saying j7o rules. Or ban.

not to call bull shit but the likly hood of you having a gtr and 30k in parts on it are slim.

as for the 2jz. I don't like jz hes a shitty person and called out my taylor swift. So I for sure wouldn't want 2 jz's in a s2000.
