Default s2k afterfire? Will it shoot flames?

Dual Amuse r1, Amuse Header, J's test pipe...

I have heard that the s2000 will shoot flames out of the exhaust when running a test pipe...I DID NOT BUY ALL THIS STUFF TO SHOOT FLAMES, but i would like to know if it is possible...Another member on the boards near me heard this also, and we are supposed to get some video one night and see if its true...Does anyone have any experience with this?

Please no flames (yes its ironic)...

I have seen flames pop from the rear of LearnersPermit's car. He has a lot of stuff done to his car, however. I know he has ITBs, Header, test pipe, and exhaust.

Yeah, I was behind LearnersPermit on the Dragon. Spitting, popping, and shooting flames. The motor wasn't running too well that day.

In most cases it shoots flames because of timing, if he's shooting flames all day long his timing is off. If you have just a i/h/e, with stock ecu most likely not. I've had that setup with Mugen ECU and it shoots flames every now and then, I can do it with my current setup with ITBs by playing around with the timing as well. With the ITBs it's easier because of all the gas that isn't burnt off properly.

My car did it. And that's with a T1R testpipe and a Spugen catback. I'm guessing it'll do it worse now when I get my car back from the shop b/c of the turbo install.
