S may be cheaper in Cali,but you can't even afford a garage and must resort to a tent to cover your car there. (looks at S2KREY's sig).

Sorry boys, but the problem with California S2000's is that the turbos in them are illegal, unlike other parts of the nation. Ahhh, I love being out of The People's Republic of El California!!!

Actually the Catalytic Converter/oxygen sensor maybe slightly different due to the emission rules. Generally because of that, Cali cars are about 3 to 5hp less than other cars from other states.

I don't believe that is the case with the S.

North American S2000s (aside from SRS labels) are all the same, I believe.

that just means we get bigger gains than everyone else from a testpipe

They are all the same. There is no specific California model.
