I have an 04 and love it, but the differences are so slight that an upgrade is not warranted. IMHO.

I wouldnt buy a car with a new motor in it personally. Means something broke....

I would say it depends on the circumstances surrounding the engine replacement. Was it driver error? Was it a manufacturer defect? Where was the work done? Is there any warranty on the replacement?

I'm going to side with the other MY04 owners posting on this for what it's worth. All things factored in I preferred the MY04 so that's what I went with but the 04+ and pre-04's are so similar there is no way I could justify trading in a paid off earlier model just to get one unless it was simply "time to get a new car".

I traded my 16 year old Prelude on a CRV in 2001. Big mistake. Three weeks ago I traded the CRV on a 2004 S-2000. My motto, when you have the right car keep it and take care of it. The S-2000 is the right car. Keep it!!! IMHO...
