Default s2k or e36 m3?

Hi i know posting this here will get me nothign but biased answers but i still want to know.. What would you guys choose? An s2k or e36 m3? Which car handles better?? How reliable are the s2k's? Preferbly 2002 because i want a convertible with glass as the rear windshield. Are there any major recalls or fixes that this car needs? Once i sell my 3000gt vr4, i'm off to used car dealership to pick me up either an 1999 m3 or 2002 s2k. What would you guys recommend?

please dont post and say "S2k ALL THE WAY" or something like that without giving suffice reasons. Thanks a lot ahead oftime!

S2K ALL THE WAY. - J/K

In straight line performance they are pretty equal.
After basic bolt ons the E36M3 is probably faster in a straight line.

In handling I give the S2000 the advantage over the M3, but the M3 handles very well.

In reliability and cost to repair the S2000 is better.

The M3 makes a better daily driver because it has some sort of traction control and a back seat and larger trunk.

Its a hard decision, on one hand you had a VR4 so you probably don't care for a back seat so S2K, but your also use to torque so the M3 has that. Just test drive both.
