Default S2K exhaust recommendation ?

Hi guys,

I am considering a new exhaust line for my 04MY S2K and wanted to have your opinion. Since I am not from the US I am not that familiar with the brands here.

I am willing to get something that will last longer (maybe stainless steel material), sounds better than the production exhaust and also give the S2K's engine to "breathe" better.

Also two MUST are :
-keeping the dual exhaust tips.
-avoiding that fart can oversized design that I can see all around on these ridiculous tuner cars ... (sorry if I offended some people, that was not my intention but it is definitely not my taste ...)

Thanks a lot for your recommendations !! (and sorry if I am not using the most proper English as well ... darn ...)

Take care,

JuL

PS : Also if you guys would recommend some good website or shops ... ? I live in the Detroit area.

most duals won't do much for you in terms of power.so..it really depends on what type of sound you want. also, check out the fujitsubo and the HKS.

I interpret the "fart can" comment as an avoidance of the N1 style muffler. Tanabe Hyper would be high on my list for price, quality, looks and sound. Plus it's widely available.

T1R dual would be my suggestion. Most duals will not affect the "breathing" much.Stock exhausts are really good except that they are heavy but then again are you tracking the car?If its only the sound you are after then getting an Intake is a cheaper option. And finally if you want the bling and have the $ then go for it.
The thing to remember is that unlike 90% of cars out there Honda really did a good job while researching/making this car so most aftermarket parts do little to no good, some actually decrease power like a HKS exhaust, unless you go all out like a single exhaust or a turbo or a supercharger etc.
Honestly save the money wait for the snow to melt and go spend it on a driving/race class. Just my $0.02.
