if you don't like it, do it for the girls. They LOVE my interior.

I didn't like it in the beginning but it grew on me

When I got pulled over in Yosemite National Park

Before my road trip

My wife, she also loved the color combo

Where did you get that shoulder pad? Was it custom made and can they do different colors? I really like it. Oh and how much? Thanks.
I got them from a member on here years ago. They are leather and hand stitched. I think they came from Australia? If you find them, let me know. Many have asked me this same question.

Awesome post guys, thanks.

I think the statement that "you have to see it in person" is correct. It also makes it more "special", and thats a good thing! I think its the red dash that pushed it over the edge, but perhaps that is what makes it so special.

I'm kind of worried about it getting lighter red/pinkish if exposed to sun for an extended period of time. Has anyone been affected by this? I guess the black could go gray as well over time, so you cant win, mind you pink is not very cool gray i could live with

Anyone ever seen a red paint job on red interior?
Peace,
-mark

I haven't had any issues with it fading. I've had mine new since 2002. I always put Lexol "Vinylex" on my dash.

It gives a nice matte/stain finish and looks really nice. It's not overdone and greasy/shiny like most products.

Count me among those who really like it, but i understand that others don't. As with many things in life, beauty lies in the eye of the beholder.

Other auto manufacturers also offer full red on some pretty upscale and classic cars:

As if I couldn't get enough, I actually had the tonneau cover colored to match!
