I have too many too list, but my favorite is my colt sporter(AR-15). It fits perfectly in the trunk of my S2000 with much space for ammo.

The only ppl who can get a Concealed carry permit in California are:

Movie stars who don't want YOU to have a permit
TV types like Rosie O'Donnell
Big contributors to the local sheriff's re-election committee
Diane Feinstein
Barbara Boxer
Not ME
Not YOU

Sure envy you guys in visionary states like Texas, AZ, FL, and the other "Shall-Issue" states...

Do not know what I would do without my guns. I still have my first shotgun that my dad gave me when I was 14.

Alas, I once was a gun owner, but a fire a few years ago relieved me of that burdern. Shown in the photo is about half the stuff that I had. Those were in a Treadlok "fireproof" safe. Although they might not look too bad in the photo, the wood had turned to charcoal, the barrels were bent, and the metal had lost it's temper. Anybody recognize anything?

Support the right to arm bears! With that said:

Glocks (all of them!) 9mm, .40 S&W, .45 and .357 Sig (hot round)
Kimber Pro-Carry
Colt Officer's Model
Colt Commander
S&W 629 (not a good concealed carry weapon)
S&W 686
Colt Python (1963)
Ruger Mk IV .22
Browning Buckmark .22 (another fun gun)
Browning Hi-Powers in .40 S&W and 9mm - these are the best work of John Browning and outshoot the Colt's and Kimber

Beretta O/U - 12 & 20 ga.
Ruger 12 ga. O/U
Remingtion 870 - 12 ga.
Remington 1100 - 12 ga.
Remington 1187 - 12 ga.
Franchi 12 ga. - 3 1/2 - "goose gun"

Sako in .308
Ruger Mini 14

Lots of good shooting sports in AR - IDPA is very active here.

Hey Dr. Jekyl, like JackTs2K said, in most states you can own automatic weapons if you qualify. Basically, you pay $200 for the transfer of the weapon to you and you have to have a background check done by the BATF. If you want to get an idea of what some of these (MP-5s, M-16s, etc) go for, check out www.gunsamerica.com and look under class 3 weapons. Basically, anything under about $5k is most likely junk.

rstark,

How do you like your Kimber Eclipse? Pretty accurate?

A USP tactical or Kimber Eclipse Target was next on my list.
