I was just watching tv coverage of the Honda Indy of Alabama where they were interviewing Will Power before the race. In the background there was a procession of no fewer than 20-30 S2000's driven by older gentlemen and all appear to be stock. Are they just local owners or are there ties to corporate Honda... I just have to ask because that's a lot of S2000's.

 

My cousin just sent me a message on Facebook about this..he is at the idny event.

 

I noticed the same thing while watching the race. I checked the Alabama forums and it looks like there's a yearly ALGP event.

 

They did this last year in Las Vegas and invited many of the California S2Ki members to come out and participate in the procession. Sadly, that was the day a driver was killed so the entire event was mired in the tragedy of the day.

 

They are local s2ki members.
