Default s2k leather seats ..dry

been looking at a few newer 07+ model S2ks lately and even the lower mileage ones all have very dry looking leather..is this normal???????

not aware of what your saying but I do know that the seats/leather/vinyl is different in 04+? I think. MY06 is definetly different to the MY00 that I had.

Honda leather is traditionally stiffer and drier than their "luxury" counterparts. Lots of Lexol to keep things in shape.

i looked at two 07s today one had 6k miles and the other with 16k, both had the same dry looking leather.. would have bought one is it wasnt for the leather

They are all like that just use some leather conditioner on them and BAM they will be all shiney

pre 06 S2000 leather was the stiff, hard quality, the latter is the softer quality - it likely requires more conditioning?

the leather on the 06+ is a bit diffrent. it is not a smooth leather like the seats on a MY00-MY05 imo... the leather on those have a somewhat of a textured leather which gives it a duller look but im sure a little Lexol or Meguiars leather cleaner can give it that shine your looking for.

Quite sure that only the perforated part of the seat that you actually sit on is leather. The rest is vinyl.
