Like the OP, I bought mine new, but in August of '05 rather than in August of '06. Got 18k on mine, double of the OP's 9k miles...so we're on the same mileage path, just a year apart.

It's my weekend only/non-rain vehicle. But this car deserves to be driven.

My car is a MY00. I bought it Dec. 9th 2006 with 25,000 miles on it. It now has almost 35,000. However, most of those are freeway miles. Also, I change the oil with Synpower and a K&N filter every 3,000 miles. Engine is getting rebuilt in the near future for a turbo.

Today i talked to a guy who had an 01 with "1252" miles on it told me he bought it new , then put it away and didn't drive the car for years ....wow . My car just turned 73k . Love it more everytime i drive . I put on more miles in 2 weeks than that guy has in put on 7 1/2 yrs !!! I said he should put it away agian ...and go buy a used one to drive ...than pull out the 01 with 1280 miles on it in like 20yrs , that would be one rare car then ...may be worth maybe a bit more than today image of a 27yr old S with 1280 miles on it makes me think hmmm wonder what the car really would be worth ???only time will tell , until then i'll try to hit 9k a day , u know just cause i can

Many people in this forum are lucky to have beaters during the week or alternates when the weather isn't ideal or are lucky to only commute a few miles to work.

I bought my S brand new in Aug '05 with ~93 mi. As of today I have ~33,xxx.
