Price, material, and amount of details. The Auto Arts has more details and a higher price.

Like yellow2001 says Auto Art models are a lot higher quality than Maisto but you pay the premium for this...

I wanted a silver/black, which is probably what you're looking for too. Neither Auto Art nor Maisto make a silver/black. I ended up buying a silver/red and a red/black to put together my own silver/black. Now I have a crappy red/red also. You want it?

The Ebbro S2000 die-cast metal model is much more detailed. Go to their web site (http://www.ebbro.com) and check under Honda. They have two models of the S2000: the standard 1/43 scale one (which is also OEM by Honda and sold as Honda Direct Marketing part at some Honda dealers) and a Premium model which is unbelievable with the details. Go take a look. I have no idea what the Premium model sells for, but if you really want a detail model of your car, it is much better than the Maisto or even the Auto Art model.

Honda dealers also sell a 1/18 s2000. It looks like the autoart one with front lip, side and rear spoiler and a very detailed interior. Too bad they want $150 for it. Anyone know where I can get one cheaper?

maisto also has the start button on the wrong side. Maisto basically took a JDM model of the car and just put the steering wheel on the other side to make a USDM version of the car. There's a lot of nice things about the maisto, but their attention to detail is a bit lacking.
