s2k at the ny auto show
saw a spa yellow s2000 at the new york auto show on friday, april 18 aka sneak preview for the general public. although i came to see concept vehicles(i.e. lexus hpx, honda studio element e, porsche gt3, dodge tomahawk) and hot exotics (lamborghini murcielago, bentley gt coupe, ferrari enzo), i couldn't help but notice that little s wedged between honda's element and company history exhibits. in contrast to some automakers (you'll know who i'm talkin' about if you attended), i'm glad honda allowed the public to experience the thrill of this vehicle by examining it inside and out. of course, many owners here, myself included, have this opportunity on a daily basis. anyone else have any impressions on what they saw at the show?

With all the talk of the S2200 (real or not), I wonder if the question is settled by the lack of anything shown at the NY Auto Show.... I guess we'll have to wait until the Tokyo show (in October I think).

s2kxtc, honda didn't have any debuts at the ny show. in fact, the only debut so far for this year by honda was the element studio e car at the naias. according to the ny demonstrator for the studio e(she was fine), honda has not announced any current plans to convert this concept into a production vehicle.

Not too much new there really. The Ford Lightning and Mustang concept cars were impressive....and the XK8 Jag in the corner was real nice. They have the best leather seats....
