Default S2K & Problem-free

After hearing so many people talk about how many troubles they've had with their s2k's, I felt I needed to say that after 11k miles since May '01 (7000 of which are supercharged), that i have not had a SINGLE problem with my car. Everything is running great, I drive it 50 miles roundtrip daily to work and back. Its my daily driver and it goes everywhere I need to go. No selective driving here. No problems at all. Just remember that for every person who posts a problem, there is probably 100 who haven't had a single one.

I let my car warm up to at least 2 bars before even thinking of driving it, but after fully warmed I will drive it how it was designed to be driven.
I change my oil every 3500 miles. Finally switched to synthetic @ 10k. I stopped burning oil around 5000 miles.
I check my oil and do a visual inspection under the hood every time i fill up my tank.
If i run a tank w/out vtec, i see 26-27mpg, with heavy vtec i get about 20.
Even tho the car is tail happy, it still out handles many other cars if they were placed in the same situation.
The trunk is small, but still has enough room for everything i've needed to get around.
The car is loud and just screams of power when pushed over 6k rpm which is exactly what I wanted. Loud = Fun

Everytime i get out of the car when I get to work, i still smile and feel like it is worth every penny.

I crave the day the weather is nice enough to put the top back down once again.

Anyone else feel the same?

Ditto.
6,700 miles on my 2001 with absolutely no problems whatsoever. A truly great car.

I feel the same except that even in this cold weather, I put on my warmest jacket with a hood and put my top down... (Although some people look at me weird as I drive by)

This is always nice to hear. I have almost 17K km on mine and there have been no problems what so ever. (I don't count the little plastic window piece that fell off as a problem since it was ice that caused it to come loose - easy fix). It starts every time. The tires are still like new (although I do have snows for winter use). Drive train still solid as is fit and finish. Still puts a giggle on my face and energy in my shorts.

I haven't had any trouble with mine either( knock on wood ) . 4,160 miles so far, but I did find my spark plugs not as tight, as I think they should have been. Very happy and getting more excited imagining what I will be able to do with my car in Europe. Excellent post

1000 miles so far - perfect. But how come I haven't burned any oil yet? Keep waiting to see it drop on the stick. And yes, I wait to check it, and I can see the oil!!

I haven't driven really hard - but have vtec'd a lot...
