Default S2k production/color numbers?

Hey all, I looked around, but i can't find any data on how many of each color S2k's were made during each year of its production.

Does anybody have information on the numbers of the different color S2000's were produced? How many Spa yellows, Suzuka blues, etc... either by year or total?

Thanks

GPW, by far, was the most rare color in earlier models......

I bought a used S2000 at CarMax. According to the salesman the Suzuki Blue is the rarest. Probably because it wasn't offered the entire production life of the S2000. Anyway, they've only had one in and it was so hot that someone tried to place a transfer on it shortly after it arrived only to have a local buyer on the lot at the time grab it before they could process it! He's got a short list of buyers interested in a Suzuki Blue should one ever show up on the lot but, alas, he's never seen one since in their dealer network.

Judging by the one's I've seen for sale and on the road around here, I'd say silver is the most popular though I've seen a lot of yellow ones (one is mine!) and white ones (soon to be another one because a dealer has a white one on their lot) around town. I've seen only one red one and one black one in town. There also is at least one or two blue ones on the road around here.

Not a scientific survey. It'll be interesting to hear what others have noticed in their areas.

Silverstone has to be the rarest color. You never see one of those driving around. I certainly don't.

Yeah, I see lots of the silvers, red, black and yellows, but almost no whites or blues. Besides my observations, I was wondering if anyone had actual production numbers.

I've seen them posted somewhere, percentage wise.

White was the rarest.....too lazy to search for the actual post.

I found this for NSX's:

Only 9 Silver/Ivory NSX's were made!

Shame we don't have anything like this here.

i think we can get a good idea with the help of this forum if all the owners register their colors. they have the breakdown of the colors in the vintage section.
