Anyone know how many S2000's are manufactured each year of production and how many are shipped/sold in U.S. market? Always been curious. Thanks.

 

It use to be 5000, who knows what it is these days

 

Yeah, I was told by dealer when they first came out that it was 6,000 a year and was curious whether that went up. It definitely helps to know considering the resale value would be higher the fewer are made.

 

These numbers were posted by another S2K member on another thread about production volumes:

USA sales by 'calendar year':

'99 = 3,400 (as model year 2000)

'00 = 6,797

'01 = 9,682

'02 = 9,684

'03 = 7,888 (sales drop awaiting new design)

The BMW Roadfly site frequently posts monthly numbers for all brands of roadsters. This is the most recent posting I have seen for the S2K:

HONDA S2000
922 May 2004 (Down 4%)
998 May 2003
3,609 2004 YTD
3,563 2003 YTD

 

WOW!!! this is about the 100th time i've seen this asked... EVERYONE DO A SEARCH!!!... I.E PRODUCTION NUMBERS!!!

but use the search, i have seen at least 5 threads exactly like this one so many times this past month
