lol the only thing about the rain that pisses u off is the water spots? dude i just slammed my front left into the center divider 5 min before new years on the freeway, after entering the onramp, hitting a puddle (with super worn out tires) did a 360 over all 4 lanes and ended up in the carpool lane stopped with my left wheel top 45 degrees inside and axle broken, smelling like SUPER BURNED clutch. FKCU the rain !!!

damn sorry to hear about your car... driving in the rain isn't too much of a hassle, just gotta be lighter on the pedal... the bad part is i spent 2 hours cleaning my car and washing it and now i have brown and black spots all over the car and carpet on the passenger side has a little mud on it i hate the rain..

I have to admit, the first time I had to drive this car in the rain I was terrified, but I think most if it was from reading stuff on here.

I could understand if you are trying to autocross in the rain or something, but if you drive it like a civic in the rain I really didn't see the problem. The second day I had it I had to drive up a mountain in the rain with little visabililty. I nearly wet myself, but I made it up and never even felt the back end get loose.

I think the main thing to remember is keep the RPMs down! Roll in the highest gear possible for your speed and don't mash the gas. I'm sure there are plenty of drivers here who are experianced enough to drive it aggressively in the rain, but for those of us who arn't as experianced and want to be careful . . . just do what I said!

Rain on the car aint so bad if you got enough wax on it. just wipe down the car. that takes some surface dirt off and, brings back the wax shine. just use seperate cloths for hood/trunk and lower/dirtier sections. As if washing the car.Use detail spray every chance you get. As for driving in the rain you either love it or you don't. It's all about the rubber. below 40 degrees with SO2'S-SO3's you gotta love it! No running through standing water too unpredictable! Plus, these summer tires turn to hockey pucks and are really dangerous even when the ground is dry. If you drive year round here in the N.E winter tires are a must.

yeah, I have to admit, I did wash my car last weekend, gave it two coats of wax, went for one drive the next morning, and the car was covered in CRAP... that is the part that sucks about the rain, other than that, the "driving" part, I think it is a LOT of fun. Also had some fun when it snowed, my silly summer tires were a handful, but I just had fun driving down the street sideways... no worries.

Move to west Texas. We could use some rain here to stop the grass fires. Of course we have floods, tornadoes, hail storms, ice storms and dust storms but for the last two months no rain.

I'll stay in oregon...lol IMO we have the most mild weather on "average" of just about anywhere you can live. People always complain about us having too much rain, but I think the weather is well balanced.
