Default s2k road trip?

I am about to take a road trip in the s2k here in about a month. everything runs perfect on it! 74k miles now. i know it will be annoying with exhuast and a striaght 12 hour drive! but will it be reliable? i mean its a honda so it should. gas prices plus mileage, = around 150 per way to drive. cheapest tickets even with military discount on a airliner, is 450 round trip wiht a 5 hour layover cheaper to drive. plus i love being in my car. im a stocky person but still.. i think i can handle it. if i DO decide to drive down there, i will get pics in TN and FL , and maybe georga

Did a 3000 mile road trip in Nov. to drive my S back home. Flew out and drove across the country for a week with my best friend, our luggage and 4.77 gears. Went to a lot of places, had lots of fun. Not one single problem with the car. Im 6'1" 205lbs, no fat really but large and had a passenger, never uncomfortable with the supportive seats. If your maintenance is up to date you should be good to go

You'll be just fine. I drove from San Diego to Las Vegas, and I kind of wish the trip was a bit longer haha.

took my S out for a drive with the wife to Yosemite last year, 450+ miles each way, got home and I just commented 985 miles, she asked what I meant, I told her we had put 985 miles on the car in 3 days, she said "that wont do, we have to break 1,000", never even turned off the motor and I bet we confused the dogs who heard the car come and go, we went South an hour for pizza, got home with 1,200 miles.

So if after 450 miles in one day wife says lets put another 2+ hours on just for a pizza, its safe to say its a comfortable car. And never gave it a second thought about reliability.

I'm planning NJ to Pittsburgh, Pittsburgh to Chicago, Chicago to Memphis, Memphis to Sarasota and then from there I'm not sure. I'm either coming back home or heading out to Texas. I did Pittsburgh abd back last weekend and it was fine by my passenger decided two bags were really four and small meant almost unfittable. Damn women packers! Noise was a bit much for conversations at a normal volume bue I didnt buy the car for it being quiet.

I'll have the girlie on the trip from NJ to Pitt and most likely on to Chicago as well then she goes back home and the rest of the trip is me and I'm looking forward to it.

You might want to get ear plugs so the noise doesn't beat you up on the long trip.
